An easy path thanks to its brevity but at the same time not to be underestimated since cycling for 17km with an elevation gain of 473m involves patience and a slow pace. The chosen roads, mostly unpaved, are rich with ups and downs and the lowland, except for short stretches around Greve, is a distant memory. Testa Lepre is the name of one of the many hilltops of Chianti, located at 530 meters above sea level.

The first stop of the trip is certainly the most demanding one, all developed on the west side of Greve, in a beautiful landscape dotted with cottages and farmhouses. Along the dirt road, not far from the suggestive medieval town of Montefioralle, the Roman parish church of San Cresci is worth a stop, with its elements of gothic and baroque architecture that make it unique. At the same height of Testa Lepre, you meet the suggestive SP118 road leading the traveler to the city walls and to the castle of Panzano in Chianti.

From Panzano to Greve, the trip is brief and mostly on an ancient dirt road, following the SR222 road and consenting to pass from Vignamaggio, a beautiful late medieval architectural complex with colonicals and a Renaissance villa. Greve is ready to welcome the traveller that can choose between visiting the Museum of Sacred Art or the Wine Museum. Alternatively, a nice stop to relax in Matteotti square.
