After Grancia di Cuna you cross the «desert» until Poggio ai Frati, where you can see the remains of the ancient fortress and the «lake of sadness» known for the legend of the two unlucky lovers who ended up swallowed by the icy waters.

The rest of the journey is a pleasant discovery of places of great charm: from Bagnaia, to the castle of Grotti and the farm of Radi, a must for the cyclists of the Eroica.
